Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. You can create, save and export routes without an account. An optional account syncs saved routes, history, places and preferences between devices.
Does GPX work with Garmin and other watches?
Yes, as long as your watch platform or training app supports GPX import. RouteMate creates a standard GPX file that can be shared to Garmin Connect, Apple Files and other compatible services. Direct Garmin sending is not enabled yet.
Does RouteMate track my location continuously?
No. Location is only used when you ask to set your start point to where you are. RouteMate does not store continuous GPS location.
