This privacy policy explains how The Nest, an app by Ruberg Dev (“we”, “us”), handles your information. By using The Nest you accept the practices described here.

Information we collect

The Nest requires an account. To provide the app, we collect:

• Account details: your email address and a display name.
• Your household: the household name and who its members are.
• Person profiles you create: name, birth date, relationship and choices for the personal bird-portrait avatar.
• Plans and events: time, place, participants, the responsible person, checklists and any recurrence pattern.
• Reminders, important dates, gift ideas and notes you add, including ones marked private.
• Interests you record for a person, and household invitations you send or receive.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide and improve The Nest — to run your account, store the content you create, and send the notifications the app offers. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking.

Where your data is stored

Your account and household data are stored in our database at Supabase, scoped to your household. Photos you select in the Nest Inbox are processed locally on your device only and are not uploaded in this version. Event reminders are shown locally on your device.

Third-party services

We only share data with the providers needed to run the app:

• Supabase — Authentication, database and household-scoped storage (Row Level Security) for your account and family data.
• Apple — Distributes the app through the App Store.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, or to delete your account and its associated data, contact us at contact@rubergdev.com. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

Children's privacy

The Nest is not directed at children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
