Do I need an account?
Yes. The Nest uses email and password so your household is secure and plans sync across your devices.
Does The Nest read my photos automatically?
No, not in this version. Photos you choose for the Nest Inbox are processed locally on your device and only used to show an example suggestion you edit and approve yourself — nothing is saved or sent anywhere until you confirm it.
Can others in the household see private notes?
No. Notes, gift ideas and some reminders can be marked private, and are then shown only to you, not the rest of the household.
