Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how HaloReply, an app by Ruberg Dev (“we”, “us”), handles your information. By using HaloReply you accept the practices described here.

Information we collect

HaloReply requires an account. To provide the app, we collect:

• Account details: your email address and workspace membership.
• The website you submit for crawling: URLs, page text and structure from your public pages, used to build the knowledge base.
• Your chatbot's settings: name, welcome message, colors, icon and placement you choose in the customizer.
• Conversation data: messages sent to your chatbot and the generated answers, for testing in the dashboard and for the widget on your site.
• If you use your own AI key (BYOK): the key is encrypted before storage and used only server-side to answer on your bot's behalf.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide and improve HaloReply — to run your account, store the content you create, and send the notifications the app offers. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking.

Where your data is stored

Account, knowledge base and conversation data are stored in our database at Supabase, scoped to your workspace.

Third-party services

We only share data with the providers needed to run the app:

• Supabase — Authentication, database and vector search (the knowledge base) for your workspace.
• AI-leverandør (administrert eller din egen nøkkel) — Generates chat answers based on your knowledge base. In managed mode this is handled by our default provider; with BYOK requests are sent to the provider you've connected yourself.
• Stripe — Handles subscriptions and payment once billing is enabled. HaloReply never stores your card details itself.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, or to delete your account and its associated data, contact us at contact@rubergdev.com. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

Children's privacy

HaloReply is not directed at children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
